La Nación launches online video news feed in Argentina

The Argentinean newspaper La Nación has launched a daily live online video newsfeed, specifically targeting mobile audiences.



la nacion pmLa Nación pm aims to offer a round-up of the most important news of the day, and will be released at 7pm, an hour before linear TV networks air their news programmes. According to the newspaper, this is a time slot during which Argentineans are increasingly connecting to read the news via their smartphones and laptops.

Presented by Juan Miceli, the online programme will also include a daily interview and a debate with some of the country’s opinion-formers. The team of journalists behind the news feed includes Carlos Pagni, Jorge Fernández Díaz, José Del Rio, Claudio Jacquelin, Nora Bär, Pablo Sirvén, Inés Capdevila, Paz Rodríguez Niell and Sol Amaya.

In addition to live streaming, the programme will available afterwards on-demand through La Nación’s website and its app for mobile devices.
